Consultancy services to conduct scientific study and frame detailed project report to rehabilitate waterlogged area of Indira Gandhi Nahar Project Stage Ist in Rajasthan according to the revised guidelines of preparing ERM project by Central Water Commission, New Delhi.

Actual Services provided by the Firm

1. Identification of all the three categories (1. water logged area – water table upto 1.5m, 2. critical area – water table 1.5 to 3.0 m, 3. potentially sensitive area – water table 3.0 to 6.0m) of water logged area. Prepared bigha wise and murabba wise statement and index map in 223066 ha area. 2. Conducted double leveling and fixing of permanent benchmark stones at every 2 km in 900 km length. 3. Surveyed with total station and prepared L-sections and X-sections at 30m interval for construction of main drain and laterals for reclamation of water logged area. 4. Design of main drain and laterals network to drain out and reclaim 19262 ha water logged area. 5. Prepared detailed design and working drawings of following structures using Stadd software a. 3 Nos. drainage aqueducts at crossing of main drain with Indira Gandhi Main Canal and Ghaggar Diversion Channel. b. Construction of 5 Nos. Pumping Stations discharge ranging from 0.42 cumecs to 6.7 cumecs and static head ranging from 6.85m to 21.0m. 6. Prepared detailed design and working drawings of 150 Nos. District-Road-Bridges / Village-Road-Bridges and Pipe Culverts at crossings of main drain and laterals with roads. 7. Undertaken geotechnical investigation for assessment of safe bearing capacity at site for construction of structures mentioned at Point 5 above. 8. Prepared area specific comprehensive report suggesting remedial measures for reclamation of saline soil of existing water logged area after observing full chemical analysis of salt spectrum. 9. Consultation with farmers and suggested conjunctive use of water and remedial measures for water logging in the region. 10. Obtained approval of DPR from Barrage and Canal, Hydrology and Cost Appraisal Directorates of CWC, New Delhi.
